Desneige Datillo, the medical director of Essential Energetics Clinics has been in private practice since 1994.
Her experience, in western medicine as an RN, BSN working in the Cardiac and Medical Intensive Care units and the Emergency Room in Boston area hospitals was her first step in to medicine.

Ms. Datillo left clinical nursing and worked for John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company as a Senior Nurse Consultant in several areas of Program Development.
During her eight (8) year tenure at John Hancock she was the co-developer of their pre-admission review program, which started with two nurses and ended with five national offices and over 200 employees.

Given the exponential growth and success with John Hancock's Preadmission review program, Ms. Datillo shifted her focus to the Quality Management field by attending the Juran Institute in Connecticut and ultimately conducted audits of the managed care programs around the country, making recommendations for change and quality improvement.

She developed the program for Quality Improvement Planning internally and taught a team of five nurses, one from each national office, how to accomplish their own quality improvement planning.
She then changed positions to Senior Consultant for Product Development of the "John Hancock Centers of Transplant Excellence" and conducted analysis of various transplant centers around the country.
This involved analysis of Kidney and Heart/Lung transplants, on a national level.
Ms. Datillo performed audits of some of the leading transplant providers in the country.
Her analysis of these programs began with auditing medical records from the time of "discovery of need" thru to discharge and rehabilitation.
She conducted outcome analysis on more than 12 various programs and negotiated contracts with those providers.
She also spoke at several conferences about her work with outcome analysis and the models she developed to evaluate these programs.

During that time Ms. Datillo sought acupuncture treatment for a sports related injury and difficulty with sleep.
Within 3 treatments she applied to the New England School of Acupuncture, and graduated in 1994.
During this time NESA was held in the highest regard because of their faculty pioneers in acupuncture from China, Japan, Great Britain and the United States.
Ms. Datillo studied under many highly esteemed and talented practitioners.
Most of them are renowned and published authors in the field Acupuncture and professors of Acupuncture at prestigious medical schools, such as Harvard Medical School.

In 1994 Ms. Datillo launched her private practice.
She has dedicated her career to keeping up with science and research that address energetic models of medicine and their integration into Western medicine.

She has attended extensive continued education in laser technology, different acupuncture models of treatment and international research conferences, such as the First International Conference on Fascia Research hosted by Harvard Medical School.

Her study of micro current technologies lead to extensive education in Laser technology, specifically in cold low level laser (CLLL) and their use with acupuncture to achieve accelerated healing and optimal health benefits.
