Desneige came into my life at a cross roads. My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for almost 2 years.
We started our endeavor when I was 32 so I was approaching "advanced maternal age."
After a year and no baby, we both had infertility testing. All our tests came back normal or what they call in medicine, "unexplained infertility."
Enter Desneige. I met Desneige in January 2006. I was immediately attracted to her spirit and her approach. I felt relaxed and open when I was with her.
I didn't really understand acupuncture but I was willing to try anything. Before I was pregnant, during one treatment, I visualized the birth of my baby girl.
I met her before she was even conceived. I know that sounds crazy but it was one of the most profound moments of my life.
By the end of March the same year, I still had not conceived and was starting to doubt everything I was doing.
I called Desneige the first week of April because I had gotten my period again, and I had to take the focus off of getting pregnant.
Well, I didn't have my period... I was spotting because I was pregnant!
I continued to see Desneige to help with placenta previa and swelling. I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on January 15, 2007, Lily May.
My birthing experience was pain free (with the help of an epidural) but it was peaceful and calm because of the tools I'd learned from Desneige.
It was the birth I had envisioned during one of my treatments. Most of us find Desneige during a time of crisis, be it pain, suffering, and/or infertility.
She allowed me to find peace and tranquility within my self which opened my body to housing another being.
I highly recommend Desneige to anyone who has had trouble conceiving.
She has given my husband and me the most amazing gift in the world, our daughter, Lily.
