Systemic Mind/Body Medicine

Systemic mind/body medicine is the medical model by which all conditions, symptoms, and diseases are treated at the Essential Energetics Clinics. We look at the entire mind/body system to develop individualized and integrated medical treatment plans. The science of Medicine, both Western and Eastern theories, have acknowledged that the mind and body are both responsible for illness. We believe that integration of these medical models provides everyone with a comprehensive way to stay healthy. People do not contract a disease overnight. There are many pre-disease signs and symptoms that don't show up on the radar of Western medicine. We believe it is best to get health care before a disease shows up, at the time when the slight discomforts and annoyances are being recognized by the individual. Whereas, these pre-illness signs and symptoms are indicators to an Eastern medicine practitioner that there is a hidden "time bomb" of disease and it is our place to disarm that potential.

Pain Management

Pain that is chronic, acute, traumatic, pre- or post-surgical can affect every aspect of a person's life. It can be debilitating and is often ineffectively treated. Pain, especially chronic pain, changes our lives. It consumes our days. It interferes with our work and relationships with friends and family. It becomes a part time job; between appointments, ice bags, heat treatments, medications and portioning energy to activities as a way to manage the fatigue, it takes over most of our thoughts throughout the day.

Fertility Enhancement

Whether you are just starting or have been involved in other medical fertility treatments, we understand the process at all levels, and have been very successful, in assisting many people achieve their goals. Essential Energetics uses Western medicine and Eastern medical theory to ensure the best possible outcome to your treatment. We require patients to participate fully in collecting of information to support this goal. We look at lab results, menstruation cycles, ovulatory cycles, hormone balance, adrenal influences, sperm count and motility support. We provide, if requested, instructions for labor coaching support. We'll facilitate labor induction and correction of breech presentations. 

Smoking Cessation

Kick the habit. No Lectures. Essential Energetics has helped many people quit smoking. We work with people using a proprietary protocol, developed by Desneige Datillo, using supplements, a book, and auricular (ear) acupuncture. After the initial consultation, patients can come to the clinics on a drop-in basis during regular business hours. This drop-in treatment plan is especially necessary for the control of cravings, and, if used adequately, can minimize withdrawal and its uncomfortable symptoms. Smoking cessation is a difficult thing for anyone. We try to help the process of quitting by minimizing your cravings and accelerating the flushing of nicotine from the body. Smoking is an addiction. We give no lectures, have no judgement, and support all of our patients trying to quit.
